We contributes to the growth of Vestas Service by involving with Service Business Units (SBUs) on Blades and General CIR reviews, VGA Tech. review and field support. Being a part of Global function we strive to be best and keep challenging ourself to deliver best. We review CIR created by site technicians or engineers across globe on CIR Portal. We maintain Vestas Global adviser ( VGA ) upto date by new guide additions and upgrading the existing guides. VGA is tool used across Vestas to troubleshoot turbine related concerns. We are responsible to support SBUs to achieve service target by doing day to day technical task through remote working structure.\nResponsibilities\nCIR Management & Technical Operations\nReview & Approval: Evaluate, prioritize, and approve Component Inspection Reports (CIR) across Onshore, Offshore, and platform-specific wind turbine systems\nTool & Process Optimization: Proactively lead technical upgrades for CIR tools-enhancing content quality, UI responsiveness, and overall reporting standards\nDatabase & Digitization: Build and maintain databases to support workflow digitization, enable data-driven analysis, and minimize operational backlogs\nTechnical Solution Delivery & Root Cause Analysis (RCA)\nCross-Functional RCA: Collaborate with regional engineering and CIM teams to execute root cause analysis and identify new failure modes.\nCIM Case Management: Create, track, and update CIM candidate based on emerging CIR findings to deliver timely, high-quality solutions to field service teams\nTask Force execution: Constitute and lead dedicated technical task force focused on reducing Low-Performance Factors (LPF), avoiding Liquidated Damages (LD), and optimizing key operational metrics based on CIR findings\nStakeholder Alignment & Global Collaboration\nCross-Functional Alignment: Lead technical discussions and brainstorming sessions with regional teams, VTO specialists, and functional experts to resolve high-priority and critical cases\nPerformance Tracking: Host weekly and monthly alignment calls with global stakeholders to report on CIR progress, review action plans, and ensure timely resolution delivery\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.7+ years in technical support, troubleshooting, commissioning, or field service operations for WTG platforms\n5+ years of direct site experience handling critical component diagnostics in field environments\nPreferred / Advantageous Qualifications\nExperience with 3.5MW to 4MW+ turbine fleets\nMulti-OEM / Multi-brand platform exposure (e.g., GE, Siemens Gamesa, Suzlon, Senvion)\nDirect experience with Offshore operations\nHands-on experience with quality and problem-solving methodologies (8D, Six Sigma)\nProficiency in data and tool workflows (Power BI, Jira, data analysis etc.)\nCompetencies\nTechnical & Diagnostic ExpertiseDeep understanding of WTG diagnostics, fault investigation, work instructions, and technical schematics\n\nProblem-Solving & Analytical MindsetStrong root cause analysis skills with a growth mindset and \"out-of-the-box\" approach to finding solutions\n\nCommunication & Stakeholder ManagementExcellent professional written and verbal communication skills\nProven capability to collaborate seamlessly across multi-cultural, international teams across time zones\n\nOperational DriveSelf-motivated and capable of operating independently with minimal supervision\nStrong organizational and prioritization skills to balance daily operations with high-impact task forces\nWillingness to travel to domestic site locations and abroad as required\n\nWhat we offer\nWe offer an exciting opportunity to grow and develop in professional and personal goals.
