We are committed to providing a reliable, high-quality service that keeps critical tooling safe, compliant, and available when it's needed most.\nResponsibilities\nYour main responsibilities will be:\nCoordinate and prioritise the maintenance team's daily activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements\nLead, support, and develop technicians by providing technical guidance, task coordination, training, and performance development\nMonitor workloads, resources, and service delivery to achieve operational objectives and maintain high service standards\nEnsure all maintenance, repair, calibration, and inspection activities comply with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements\nAct as the key point of contact for stakeholders, communicating work progress, priorities, and service performance while fostering a customer-focused culture\nDrive safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence by supporting investigations, implementing corrective actions, and introducing best practices\nManage maintenance records, equipment and tooling availability, inventory control, recruitment, and departmental projects to maximise operational readiness and team effectiveness\nQualifications\nHold a recognised engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent\nDemonstrate proven experience working within maintenance, workshop, service, manufacturing, or engineering environments\nPossess previous experience coordinating teams, supervising technicians, or leading day-to-day operational activities\nHave a strong understanding of maintenance planning, workload prioritisation, and effective resource management\nBe proficient in using maintenance management systems, SAP, or other operational software to support service delivery\nBe able to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and operational procedures accurately and effectively\nShow a strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and quality standards, promoting compliance and continuous improvement\nCompetencies\nWe expect that you:\nStrong leadership and team coordination skills\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities\nHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nProactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset\nCustomer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence\nAble to make decisions confidently and take ownership of outcomes\nPositive role model who promotes collaboration, accountability, and a strong safety culture\nWhat we offer\nWe offer a competitive salary, annual bonus scheme, company pension, and private healthcare, alongside a varied and rewarding role with real responsibility and ownership.
