It is responsible for monitoring SCADA servers worldwide, ensuring complete and accurate data collection from wind parks, and reducing customer network downtime.\nRemote Operations Center Manila supports: Offsite IT Infrastructure alert monitoring for other wind parks across the globe to ensure connectivity of all the parks to the network, the SCADA server is in working condition, and Vestas critical services are running to minimize the lost production factor of wind turbines.\nRemote Operations Centers > Remote Operations Center Manila > ROC Manila - Plant Network Support\n Responsibilities:\n\nOffsite network support assisting customers to make sure that they can connect to the Vestas network\nRemote Configuration, installation, and upgrade of network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network devices in the Wind Power Plants (WPP)\nFacilitate wind farm integration to Vestas network\nMaintain network uptime by reactive remote troubleshooting\nUser management for Cisco network devices\nHigh-quality support, i.e., short response time and high-resolution rate\nTicket resolution (incident resolution, request fulfillment)\nProvides input for continuous operations improvement\nInvolvement in Projects\nQualifications:\n\nEducation: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT, or equivalent\nProfessional experience maintaining real-world production systems. Maintain complex network designs\nFor instance, Understanding of Cisco ISE (LDAP, REST APIs), IPSec VPN, DMVPN, and device authentication (IEEE 802.1x)\nAt least two (2) years of extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers (preferred industrial grade) experience and other vendors.
