Vestas is looking for a Project Manager!\nRegion NCE and Global Offshore > Global Offshore > Main Component Exchange\nThe Main Component Exchange department is responsible for ensuring a safe and high-quality customer experience when completing main component exchange projects for our customers, supporting service sites in executing special campaigns and internal project support within the department.\nThe department is part of the Global Offshore Service organization. Here you become part of a focused team of many colleagues who consistently deliver Offshore Services to our trusted customers. This includes everything from strategy work, operational improvement, Health & Safety, technical case handling to delivering the services on the wind turbines offshore.\nResponsibilities\nIn this key role, you are accountable for leading designated projects within an assigned cluster, ensuring safe, timely, and high quality delivery. Your responsibilities include:\nEnd to end project leadership within an assigned scope or cluster, ensuring delivery within time, budget, quality, and HSE requirements, while establishing and managing the project organization and securing appropriate resourcing with the Head of Department and Lead Project Manager\nDirect responsibility for core project management disciplines, including financial management, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, risk and governance frameworks, reporting, procurement, and communication\nCollaborate with Site Management, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Quality and HSE functions. Ensuring offshore readiness and operational excellence, aligning global standards with local execution to enable safe, efficient, and effective offshore campaigns across the cluster\nManage project governance, reporting and decision-making processes, ensuring transparency and effective communication with stakeholders\nActing as an ambassador for Vestas and Offshore Service, encouraging collaboration, compliance, and consistent performance with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and cross functional teams. Lead lessons learned- and strategic activities and continuous improvement initiatives\nBuilding organizational capability, mentoring colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing, and enhancing technical, contractual, and commercial maturity across the project and cluster\nBuilding and maintaining customer relationships by pro-active engagement, visible project leadership and regular customer and site visits\nQualifications\nTo perform well in this role, we expect demonstrated ownership and accountability, paired with the ability to maintain a holistic, end to end project view. We believe the following experience and qualifications are essential:\nA relevant engineering or business degree in Business Administration, or a comparable discipline (such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)\nMin. 5 years of solid project management experience, including leadership of large scale, cross functional and multi site projects with strategic impact-showcasing clear accountability for outcomes and complex stakeholder landscapes\nProficiency with established project management methodologies and tools, such as PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent frameworks\nWorking knowledge of quality assurance and HSE standards, including familiarity with frameworks such as WTSR, CDM, and other relevant safety and compliance principles\nExposure to governance structures, direct customer exposure, risk management processes, and contractual frameworks, demonstrating the ability to make informed decisions and take accountable ownership of risks and mitigations\nSolid system and analytical skills, with proficiency in SAP PPM, Power BI, MS Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite\nAbility to communicate in English clearly, professionally, and effectively with colleagues across the whole organization both orally and in writing\nCompetencies\nHighly developed stakeholder management, engaging communication and leadership skills, able to create alignment, earn trust, and develop productive relationships among a wide range of internal and external stakeholders\nSolid project leadership skills with the ability to manage execution under changing conditions. Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on safety, customer satisfaction and performance\nAbility to work in an international environment with cross-functional teams and customers.
