You will become part of a highly professional environment with a solid technical focus.APAC Procurement is responsible for managing the spend for countries such as Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam etc with external suppliers.\nWith a matrix organization, with global and regional roles, the Procurement ensures the deployment of common strategy and processes with same overall objectives across all Vestas regions. We help our Service business and Production Facilities deliver projects safely, on time, in budget, with the right quality by handling supplier selection and contracting.\nYou will be reporting to the Head of Service Procurement APAC, the full team is working cross-functionally and responsible for managing all Procurement activities related to the Service business.\nResponsibilities\n1) Candidate should be responsible for hiring Crane Service, Manpower Services and Transportation services for wind energy projects during the servicing phase in both On and Offshore Windfarms\n2) Candidate should have On and Offshore Wind turbine project knowledge and shall be responsible for all service procurement for Taiwan wind sites\n3) Candidate shall be responsible for the RFQ process, establishing supplier selection criteria, evaluating alternative suppliers and manage final supplier selection in partnership with internal stakeholders\n4) Candidate shall be responsible for generating quote comparison, negotiation strategies and will negotiate supplier contracts and agreements\n5) Candidate shall be responsible for write/alter complex documents such as Letters of Authorization (LOA), Letters of Intent and Contracts in collaboration with our Legal team\n6) Keep track of cost out initiatives and generate management reports on same\n7) Adhere to sourcing processes in accordance with global processes and standards\n8) Execute risk assessments of suppliers, using the standard risk tools\nQualifications\n1) Demonstrated work experience as a Sourcing/Procurement Engineer\n2) Understanding of wind market dynamics and sound business judgment\nCompetencies\n1) Ability to negotiate and finalize high value contracts\n2) Proficient in figures including collecting, analyzing and interpreting data\n3) Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions\n4) Skill in preparing Power point Presentations\n5) SAP/Ariba platform knowledge\nWhat we offer\nWe offer an exciting and international job with great opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at a global wind turbine manufacturer.
