Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.\nSupport an environment of continuous improvement by making suggestions and implementing where possible.\nPerform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.\nDescriptions of various tasks in the plant:\n Codetape/Assembly/Hem/Hang/Emblem App\nApply code tape using a Heat Seal Machine\nUse the Maincore reports to verify, log, and track daily order transmissions.\nAttention to detail in preparing daily work instructions, Back Orders and daily/weekly/monthly reports.\nCustomer Service contact for inquiries, questions, status, etc. with assigned Market Centers (phone and E-mail).\nPrint Code Tape and assemble daily work tickets with code tapes and emblems, following schedules.\nCut clothing to order specifications\nHem pants using blind stitch and straight stitch machines\nHang garments according to customer specifications\nInspect garments for errors and damage\nReceive customer orders requiring emblem application\nApply emblems according to order specifications\nInventory\nReceive, store, and issue materials from stock.\nKeep records and compile stock reports on progress of work, inventory levels, and production problems.\nTake physical count of stock or check and mark merchandise.\nCoordinate and expedite the flow work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule.\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nPacker\nReceive orders from distribution and inspect garments for accuracy (e.g. spelling, thread color).\nFold and tape container and put it on conveyor belt for shipping department.\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nPicker\nPick orders according to printed pick tickets\nCheck picked orders to make sure requested styles, colors, and quantities are correct\nLoad completed cartons on to conveyor to be distributed to the next department\nClear away empty garment boxes and move new boxes to the front of pick shelves\nKeep pick isles clear\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nReceiving\nUnload incoming freight and verify active counts\nReceive freight using WM system, verify vendor, purchase order number, SKU, and quantity\nPut away stock in warehouse\nVerify discrepancies for posting\nPull available stock as requested by supervisors using computer generated pull slips\nPerform aisle audits (cycle scans)\nMaintain department quality and production standards.\nDaily/weekly upkeep of equipment and facility (cleaning) as needed\nReceive merchandise from outside vendors against Advance Shipping Notice (ASN).\nFacilitate the movement of stock and incoming packages to be distributed.\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nQC audit /Inspection\nConduct internal audit of cartons. Inspect for accuracy and compliance to quality standards and work flow procedures.\nMaintain data base of audit results. Update spreadsheets with weekly, monthly totals.\nMaintain data base of customer returns for quality.\nPrepare written reports and interface with management on quality issues.\nMake recommendations for improvements.\nCoordinate with Trainers on Training Processes.\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nReturns\nOpen and key customer return orders into Phast\nSort packages into categories\nMaintain garment disposition based on most recent department guidelines\nAccurately code all return orders to ensure accurate reporting\nPerform RTS (Return to Stock) processing\nRespond to and initiate calls to resolve issues when necessary\nDocument customer feedback using appropriate feedback methods\nAssist in transporting hampers/racks/pallets to proper areas\nProcess garments identified for disposal with the appropriate vendor\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nShipping\nCreate and maintain customer database and maintain various reports/spreadsheets\nInterface with AUS internal customers\nAssist customer service by tracking packages/shipments\nPerform general clerical duties\nPackage by hand a wide variety of products and materials for shipment.\nUse shipping computers for multiple carriers to process shipments as customer has requested.\nKeep necessary records and completed forms.\nMaintain department quality and production standards.\nDaily/weekly upkeep of equipment and facility (cleaning) as needed\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nTransporter\nResponsible for the overall carton flow through the departments.\nRemove cartons from picking conveyor and place in designated locations of flow rack or floor area\nPut the work in the flow racks by priority and don’t mix the dates.\nRemove cartons from flow rack, write the station number on the carton label and send the carton to that workstation\nKeep workstations stocked at all times\nMove cartons using a hand truck to the stations as needed\nPush finished cartons on outbound conveyor\nRepair damaged cartons as needed\nCommunicate to leadership team the status of the work flow throughout the shift\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nVAS Machine Operator\nOperate embroidery machines\nKeep the machine running as you prepare the next order.\nBe able to stand in one area for the whole shift and keep a steady pace.\nType in the tape #, Read the #’s on the Thread.\nReplenish thread colors for each order as needed.\nBe able to see small objects and pay attention to detail.\nThread needles, Change the threads.\nBe able to learn hooping.\nReceive orders with customer specifications, prepare garments for customization and use computerized sewing machines to embroider garments.\nRetrieve thread color, thread needles and align garment or hat inside the hoop, under the needle.\nAlign the garment or hat under the needle to ensure proper placement of the stitching.\nFollowing customer specifications input the requested information into the sewing machine and apply the appropriate embroidery to the garment.\nMay operate multiple machines at once.\nPerform other related duties as assigned or requested.\nMaterial Handler \nCustomer Service contact for inquiries, questions, status, and tracking numbers (phone and E-mail).\nExecute requests to find orders, make changes, and locate tracking numbers and expedite.\nPrimary contact to coordinate daily Must Ship By Requests.\nPerform Rep. The following physical activities are required: lifting, reaching, bending, walking, sitting, standing, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance. Tight deadlines that may require overtime are required. Overtime may be required.
