As advocates for the organization, RSRs strive to generate goodwill and loyalty for the organization while performing their work in a professional manner at all times.\nResponsibilities/Essential Functions\nSafely operates a company step van in designated area to provide products and service to a variety of clients.\nVerifies daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintains proper operator documentation;\nManages daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product;\nLoads/unloads product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines;\nReviews invoices daily for complete and accurate information and makes corrections as needed;\nMeets sales goals and promotes overall route growth to enhance profitability;\nDevelops leads/prospects, calls on prospective customers to solicit business, prepares service agreements, and installs new accounts. Assists the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business;\nUnderstands services, policies, and pricing methods and clearly explains the same to the customer;\nMonitors customer feedback and handles customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner;\nTake responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others. Use safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies;\nPerform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nMust be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and excellent driving record;\nCustomer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact;\nStrong math and basic computer skills;\nDemonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred;\nExcellent customer service and verbal communication skills required;\nAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance.\nMust be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.\nRequires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching;\nWorking Conditions\nExposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extreme hot/cold temperatures depending on geographical location.\nFast-paced environment requiring irregular and long hours.\nEducation\nHigh school degree or equivalent\n\nBenefits: Vestis offers a wide array of comprehensive benefit programs and services including medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, basic life insurance, and paid parental leave. Employees are able to enroll in the company’s 401k plan. Employees are eligible for 40 hours of vacation, 40 hours paid sick time every year.
