This role will support the administration of the company's HRI system and assist with key operational tasks such as payroll, benefits, and compliance. \nWhat Will You Be Doing? \nHRIS and Employee Support \nMaintain the accuracy and completeness of employee records within our HRIS, Rippling.\nManage the People Ops inbox and handle tier one inquiries such as onboarding, VOE (Verification of Employment), benefits, and leave-related questions. \nEscalate complex issues as needed, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person for resolution. \nProvide support for HRIS reporting and internal metrics \nPayroll, Benefits & Compliance \nSupport the People Services team in the accurate and timely administration of semi-monthly, hourly, and contractor payroll. \nAssist the People and Finance teams with state and federal filing requirements.\nHelp create and maintain job descriptions, ensuring classification and compensation compliance. \nSupport the People and Compliance teams with gathering necessary data and information for annual reporting, RFPs, and audits in a timely manner. \nManage key benefit compliance tasks, including the maintenance of plan documents and the distribution of SPDs, SPCs, and other required legal notifications. \nMaintain Sparrow our leave management platform and add new employees upon leave requests. Manage all leave requests in accordance with company policy and regulations, including FMLA, maternity/paternity leave, bereavement, jury duty, paid/unpaid time off, and general leaves of absence. \n\nRequirements \nThe Necessities\nProficient with Google Drive tools, including Sheets, GMail, Docs, and Slides.\n2+ years of experience in People Team or a service-related role.\nExceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize daily responsibilities.\nAbility to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally in accordance with departmental policies.\nExcellent organizational and follow-through skills to ensure the completion of assigned tasks.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nAbility to communicate effectively with colleagues and cross-functionally.\nThe Extras\nExperience working in a high-paced startup environment or SaaS environment.\nPrior experience using Rippling.\nPrior experience using Sparrow or other leave management platform.\nExperience supporting a hybrid team.\nThe expected base salary range for this position is $55K - $60K base. This position is eligible to participate in the Company Bonus Pool and is eligible to receive new hire equity in the Company.
