The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller to support day-to-day accounting operationsand will be an integral member of the Finance & Accounting Department. \nResponsibilities:\nReview and maintain the AP inbox to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders and employee expense reports, including obtaining appropriate approvals.\nEnter cash receipts, monitor aging reports and assist with follow-up on outstanding balances with clients.\nOrganize and maintain electronic accounting records by combining and filing AP, AR, and supporting documentation.\nReview and process employee timesheets on a semi-monthly basis, generate timesheet reports, assist with payroll processing, and support timesheet corrections as needed.\nPerform reconciliations of reports, including credit cards and subcontractor reports, and assist with researching and resolving discrepancies.\nSupport the accounting team with ad hoc tasks such as updating Excel schedules, saving monthly bank statements, booking travel reservations, and assisting with new hire and termination set up in Deltek Costpoint.\nAssist with audits, property tax filings, and other compliance-related requests as needed.\nSupport the Controller with financial deliverables, including DCAA related reporting and annual incurred cost submissions.\nParticipate in training opportunities, including Deltek learning resources, to build a strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and government contracting requirements.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required\nMinimum of1year of direct, relevant experience in accounting and/or finance is required \nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel to include lookups and pivot tables\nDeltekCostpoint knowledge and experience required \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment\nClear written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with all stakeholders\nA positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow\nCompensation: $50,000 - $65,000\nAbout Us\nIntelliDyne, LLC empowers government organizations through the delivery of quality, mission-aligned services and innovative, people-first IT solutions.
