Since then, we’ve expanded rapidly, with hospitals nationwide open 24/7/365, and created an ER experience that focuses on what our pets and pet parents really need. We’ve done the same for our people (VEGgies), finding a way to say YES so they are empowered to achieve great things, grow in unexpected ways, and find a place where they truly belong.\nWe’re rethinking emergency care from every angle-from how we run our hospitals to how we support the people working inside them. That’s where our headquarters team comes in. Whether building technology to make our hospitals more efficient, recruiting and growing incredible VEGgies, or bringing our brand to life through marketing, our VQ (VEG Headquarters) team makes it all possible-ensuring our hospitals and people have everything they need to help pets and their families.\nVEG is a 2025 and 2026 certified Great Place to Work®.\nTHE JOB\nAt VEG, we find a way to say YES-and this role is about bringing that mindset to how we train and support the next generation of VEG emergency doctors. \nOur New ER Doctor (NERD) program is a critical part of how VEG recruits, develops, and builds the doctors who will care for people and their pets as we grow. As an Operations, Senior Associate on the New ER Doctor training team, you’ll help make world-class training happen by creating an experience that feels seamless, personal, and thoughtfully run from start to finish.\nYou’ll coordinate the details behind New ER Doctor education and hands-on training, support educators and learners on-site, and use feedback and data to continuously improve the program. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of NERD operations outcomes, bring your judgment to the work, and help build the systems and processes that allow the program to scale without losing the individualized experience that makes the program special.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nProgram Operations: Own a share of NERD education and hands-on training from planning through execution, including schedules, syllabi, speaker confirmations, instructor agreements, participant communications, travel, and on-site logistics.\nLearner and Educator Experience: Create a thoughtful, high-touch experience by anticipating needs, supporting educators and learners, troubleshooting issues in real time, and making complex programs feel seamless to the people participating in them.\nOperational Ownership: Keep multiple stakeholders, timelines, and dependencies moving. Surface risks early, make clear asks, follow through, and bring open items to closure.\nContent and Communications: Maintain and improve training materials, resources, and communications so they stay clear, accurate, and aligned with the evolving needs of the program.\nMeasurement and Insights: Own education and training surveys, analyze feedback and program signals, and share insights that help the team understand what is working and where the experience can improve.\nSystems and Process Improvement: Improve workflows, documentation, tools, and automations that make NERD operations more efficient, consistent, and scalable as the program grows.\nCollaboration: Partner closely with NERD teammates, educators, Medical Directors, hospital teams, Talent, and Talent Development to make participation easier and ensure learners feel individually supported.\nWHAT YOU NEED\n3+ years of experience independently owning complex programs, events, training experiences, or projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and moving pieces\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage day-to-day execution while keeping sight of the broader program experience\nClear, thoughtful communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with learners, educators, hospital leaders, and cross-functional partners\nComfort working with surveys, dashboards, and program data to identify trends, communicate insights, and improve how work gets done.\nA collaborative, service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage recurring tasks while supporting multiple stakeholders\nA proactive, customer-focused approach-you anticipate needs, solve problems, and take ownership without waiting for every next step to be defined.\nAbility and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time for on-site training, including extended stays in Las Vegas and occasional weekend coverage.\n4 days in office required; HQ located in White Plains, NY\nWHO YOU ARE\nEmpathetic, instinctively taking a people-centric approach, whether supporting your colleagues or making an effort to understand different perspectives\nHave a sense of humility; acknowledging mistakes, sharing credit with others, and lifting up your team’s’ accomplishments\nFeel a strong sense of ownership over your work, taking responsibility for outcomes and staying committed to achieving long-term, impactful results \nCurious by nature; you ask insightful questions and continuously seek out opportunities to learn and grow your skills and knowledge\nHOW WE INVEST IN YOU\nCompetitive Compensation Including ($80,000 - $100,000) + bonus + benefits.\nComprehensive health and wellness benefits that start on day one, and access to free therapy or counseling\nPaid parental leave, up to 12 weeks at 100% of regular salary, and offering inclusive fertility and family-building care for all types of families\nUnlimited PTO to use for vacation or sick days-however you need it! \nGenerous employee referral program, so our awesome people can bring in more awesome people.\nAnd the little (big) things, like casual office attire, ability to bring your fur baby to work, cool VEG swag, food in the fridge for when you’re hungry and free lunches twice a week!!\nCompany laptop and a monthly cell phone reimbursement\nBETTER TOGETHER: WHY IN-PERSON MATTERS AT VEG HQ \nOur hospitals thrive on in-person collaboration, and VQ is no different. Time in the office sparks stronger connections, meaningful conversations, and better results-all bringing our core values to life. We prioritize being present because our values are best achieved side by side. Plus, we make getting here easy with free parking and a shuttle from the White Plains Metro-North station.\nDEI\nAt VEG, diversity is not just a word-it's a strength that fuels innovation and kindness. Our mission is “Helping people and their pets when they need it most.” And we do that better when our VEGgies (employees) feel valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. That's why we're devoted to creating an environment that reflects the diverse communities we serve-where different perspectives are not only welcomed but celebrated.\nWe are focused on providing equitable opportunities for growth, promoting inclusive decision-making, and ensuring that everyone's perspective is considered. Saying yes to VEG means helping us build a culture where your unique experiences and background contribute to a shared vision: being the world’s veterinary emergency company.","description_format":"text","description_chars":7113,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Parental leave","Unlimited PTO"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Veterinary Medicine"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-16T03:40:22Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 21","filings_12m":21,"filings_prev_12m":16,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":127500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-15T11:24:14+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":60,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.602,"p_room":1,"age_days":5,"expected_fill_days":37,"reasons":["conf:0","stale_co","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-21T05:46:15Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":100000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/veterinary-emergency-group-senior-associate-nerd-operations","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/veterinary-emergency-group-senior-associate-nerd-operations.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-21T06:56:51Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":9848,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-22T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":690181},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=690181"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fveterinary-emergency-group-senior-associate-nerd-operations"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fveterinary-emergency-group-senior-associate-nerd-operations"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fveterinary-emergency-group-senior-associate-nerd-operations"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/veterinary-emergency-group-senior-associate-nerd-operations\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fveterinary-emergency-group-senior-associate-nerd-operations"}]}
