Earn $1,000 when you refer a new team member to one of our 180+ partner hospitals across the country.\nSalary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.\nSchedule: Half day Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays and Alternating Saturday \nKey Responsibilities: \nAssist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries\nHandle and restrain animals safely and compassionately\nPrepare examination rooms and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surfaces\nPerform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples\nAdminister medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a veterinarian\nFeed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed\nMaintain accurate medical records\nCommunicate with pet owners about their pets’ care, treatment plans, and follow-up visits\nClean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment\nQualifications:\nPrevious experience working with animals in a veterinary setting is required. \nTechnical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.\nPhysical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.\nAbout Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital\nCainhoy Veterinary Hospital opened in February of 2021 and is a state-of-the-art, full-service veterinary hospital with the mission to be Cainhoy’s premier Veterinary Hospital by delivering high-quality, individualized, and compassionate care to the community we serve.
