We are open M 10am-10pm,T-F 7:45 AM- 6PM and Rotating Saturdays \nKey Responsibilities: \nAssist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries\nHandle and restrain animals safely and compassionately\nPrepare examination rooms and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surfaces\nPerform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples\nAdminister medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a veterinarian\nFeed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed\nMaintain accurate medical records\nCommunicate with pet owners about their pets’ care, treatment plans, and follow-up visits\nClean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment\nQualifications:\nPrevious experience working with animals in a veterinary setting.\nTechnical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.\nPhysical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.\nAbout River's Edge Animal Hospital\nRiver's Edge Animal Hospital was founded in 2021 by Dr. Kerri Blackburn with the vision of providing high-quality medical care and excellent customer service to patients and clients within Rock Hill, Fort Mill, and the surrounding areas.\nOur modern facility boasts five exam rooms, a private dental suite equipped with digital dental x-ray capabilities, and a state-of-the-art surgical suite and surgical laser.
