Weekend and evening shifts are required.\nKey Responsibilities: \nAssist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.\nHandle and restrain animals safely and compassionately\nPrepare examination rooms and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surfaces\nPerform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples\nAdminister medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a veterinarian\nFeed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed\nMaintain accurate medical records\nCommunicate with pet owners about their pets’ care, treatment plans, and follow-up visits\nClean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment\nQualifications:\nAt least 1 year of veterinary experience is preferred.\nTechnical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.\nPhysical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.\nAbout Dorset Street Animal Hospital\nDorset Street Animal Hospital is a brand new Urgent Care Veterinary practice in South Burlington, Vermont, dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for dogs and cats across the greater Burlington area.
