Veterinary Practice Partners is a US veterinary practice group based in King of Prussia, near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that acquires and supports independent animal hospitals under a co-ownership model in which veterinarians keep a stake in their practice. Its network includes general practice, emergency and holistic clinics that keep their local names, such as The Pet Doctor in O'Fallon, Missouri and Northside Veterinary Clinic in Brooklyn. It hires associate and co-owner veterinarians, emergency medical directors, veterinary technicians, assistants and receptionists, and runs a student externship and preceptorship program.
