# InterSystems IRIS Cache Database Administrator (Remote Opportunity)

We are currently looking for a InterSystems IRIS / Caché Database Administrator for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. This role supports the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Data Migration and Management (DMM) Support Services for Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM), including VX130 and related InterSystems environments that aggregate VistA data and transmit data to Oracle Health. The Database Administrator will support the administration, availability, performance, replication, backup and recovery, and ongoing sustainment of mission-critical InterSystems IRIS and Caché database environments. This position supports Development, Test, Staging, and Production environments in a fast-paced operational setting and requires collaboration with VA staff, Oracle Health, application developers, engineers, infrastructure teams, and other contractors. The role may require support for production deployments, upgrades, sustainment activities, and after-hours or on-call operations to maintain Data Migration continuity and EHRM site-conversion readiness.
