This role will provide critical support to enterprise data integration and site conversion activities, with a focus on managing, improving, and supporting cutover data extracts and associated applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in extract logic, data workflows, and clinical data verification, and play a key role in ensuring the success of VA Electronic Health Record (EHR) site conversions.\nThis position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as a subject matter expert on VA cutover extract processes, including ongoing refinement and enhancement of extraction logic and methodology.\nMaintain and evolve extract routines used to transfer clinical data (appointments, medications, lab orders, consults, etc.) during site conversion activities.\nProvide hands-on support during pre-go-live, go-live, and post-go-live phases to ensure data completeness and accuracy for newly onboarded VA medical centers.\nSupport and maintain DAWA and other associated tools used in the cutover extract and data validation lifecycle.\nAnalyze data discrepancies between legacy and new EHR systems, and coordinate remediation activities with technical teams.\nCreate and update extract runbooks, site tracking sheets, validation documentation, and support logs for internal and external stakeholders.\nCollaborate closely with data engineers, clinical SMEs, and government stakeholders to ensure extract integrity, timeliness, and compliance.\nMonitor conversion readiness indicators and help drive decision-making on extract go/no-go milestones.\nDocument lessons learned and contribute to continuous process improvement of the conversion and extract process.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in a business discipline. Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.\n10+ years of experience.\nExperience supporting large-scale federal programs, with a focus on data migration, system implementation, or healthcare IT.\nDemonstrated experience creating, executing, and supporting data extracts in complex healthcare environments.\nStrong understanding of healthcare data domains (e.g., appointments, medications, labs, consults) and how they relate to EHR implementations.\nFamiliarity with tools such as DAWA and ability to support ongoing functionality and user interactions.\nAbility to lead and support activities across remote, multi-disciplinary teams under high-pressure timelines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting data quality findings and progress updates to senior stakeholders.\nU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\nAdditional Qualifications:\nPrior experience supporting EHR go-lives at VA or other federal healthcare agencies.\nWorking knowledge of the VX130 platform and associated data flows.\nFamiliarity with SQL, Power BI, and Excel-based tools for analysis and tracking.\nExperience supporting data verification in mirrored IRIS or HealthShare environments.\nCertifications such as PMI-PBA, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.\nExperience using AI tools (for example, Microsoft 365 Copilot) to analyze extract results and data discrepancies between legacy and new EHR systems, identify patterns and anomalies, and prioritize remediation, with the analyst validating all findings.\nExperience using AI-assisted tools to refine and troubleshoot extract logic and the SQL used in cutover extracts, including reviewing and testing AI-generated changes before they are used.\nExperience using AI tools to draft and maintain extract runbooks, site tracking sheets, validation documentation, support logs, and lessons learned.\nExperience using AI tools to summarize conversion readiness indicators and prepare go/no-go briefings and progress updates for senior stakeholders, with the analyst verifying accuracy before release.\nFamiliarity with secure and responsible AI use in federal healthcare environments, including protecting PHI/PII in clinical data, using only agency-approved AI tools, and following VA and
