Timberland is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser Intern to join the Global Women Merchandising Team in Stabio, Switzerland.\nAs Assistant Merchandiser Intern, you will support the Timberland Global Women Apparel Team across product creation, collection presentation, sales analysis and merchandising reporting, contributing to decisions shaped by consumer needs, market insights and seasonal priorities.\nHow you'll make a difference\nGet ready to make an impact! Here’s what you’ll be responsible for joining our team as Assistant Merchandiser Intern:\nSupport the Global Women Apparel Team in product creation, collection presentation and seasonal merchandising activities.\n\nMaintain accurate product information in merchandising systems, including PLM/Enovia data entry, pricing, SCO management and product attributes.\n\nAnalyze sales performance, market insights and consumer trends to identify bestsellers, slow movers and commercial opportunities.\n\nContribute to seasonal line plans, sell-in tools, product presentations and merchandising reports.\n\nCoordinate cross-functional activities with Merchandising, Design, Product Development, Footwear, Accessories and Marketing teams to keep stakeholders aligned on GTM calendar milestones and next steps.\n\nTake ownership of ad-hoc projects to build autonomy, strengthen project management skills and contribute to team spirit.\n\nSkills that will make you succeed:\nA strong passion for fashion, product and the clothing industry, with curiosity for consumer needs and store visual merchandising.\n\nThe ability to analyze quantitative sales data and qualitative market feedback to identify trends, opportunities and consumer insights.\n\nA precise and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage product information accurately across systems and reports.\n\nThe capability to summarize product briefs, recap key product features and support product development conversations.\n\nStrong organizational skills and a proactive team-player attitude, helping different stakeholders stay aligned throughout the seasonal calendar.\n\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.\n\nA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Business or similar field is preferred.\n\nWhat’s in it for you\nAt the end of the Internship period, you can expect to have a clear understanding of the below:\nHow a global merchandising team builds, presents and manages a seasonal women’s apparel collection.\n\nHow product data, sales performance, consumer insights and market feedback support assortment decisions.\n\nHow cross-functional collaboration between Merchandising, Design, Product Development, Marketing, Footwear and Accessories contributes to the Go-To-Market process.\n\nHow to create and maintain sell-in tools, product presentations and merchandising reports for internal and external stakeholders.\n\nThe VF EMEA Internship Program is a 12-month journey designed to develop and empower emerging talents at the start of their careers.
