So, before we get to the job details, take a minute to learn a little more about us - our values and our culture - visit VF Careers or www.vfc.com.\nWhat will you do?\nA day in the life of a Operations Supervisor at VF looks a little like this.\nIn this position you will be responsible for the supervision of the accurate and timely operations of replenishment, picking, trouble resolution and Value-Added Services (VAS).\nLet’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.\nEnsures fiscal responsibility targets are met including budgets and forecasts, cost control and reporting as it relates to labor planning and supplies. \nAssume responsibility of product from replenishment on a wave-by-wave basis through fast pick/shelf picking, trouble resolution and VAS. \nEnsure staffing levels are appropriate for all aspects of the daily/monthly workflow. \nSets clear and measurable goals for all associates on a daily/monthly/yearly basis. \nProvide supervisory leadership to area associates to ensure outstanding service to internal and external customers. \nEstablishes workload priorities and provides clear daily objectives for the area under supervision. \nCreate, generate, and analyze DC/LM reports to ensure throughput goals are being met. \nEnsure full compliance with VF policies and procedures. \nWhat do you need to succeed?\nWhile formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2+ years of related experience and professional achievements.\nThe foundation skills you will need in this position are:\n2+ years of equivalent warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. \nExperience and proficiency with WMS (PkMS) or other comparable WMS, RF and MHE technologies. \nWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations. \nAbility to lead, coach and develop staff to improve performance and achieve goals. \nAbility to balance and prioritize competing demands. \nAbility to interact with all levels of management with confidence and respect. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nProficient in core computer skills (Microsoft Office). \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Bi-lingual - Spanish preferred). \nThere are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.\nBachelor’s Degree \nSpecial Physical and/or Mental Requirements:\nAbility to be flexible and willing to work extended hours including weekends as necessary.\nWhat do we offer you?\nAt VF, we know you expect as much from us as we do from you.
