If you're ready to design solutions that shape how people experience the natural and built environment, this position offers the perfect blend of challenge, purpose, and opportunity.\nLearn more about VHB's Land Development team here: Land Development | VHB\nResponsibilities\nWork within a team of professionals to develop site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects.\nTrain and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies\nAssist Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with managing and delegating tasks, forecasting and proactively addressing workload and staffing needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates across the organization\nSkills and Attributes\nWillingness to learn implementation of integrated services projects in a team with multidisciplinary skills.\nKnowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulations\nInnovative design skills to develop solutions to complex projects.\nExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills\nQualifications\nBS in Civil Engineering or related degree\n3-5+ years of increasing engineering experience\nEIT licensure preferred or have passed the FE Exam\nProficient in the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D,HydroCAD, MS Office\nProficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management\nExperience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports\nExperience with GIS Systems is a plus - GIS is one of the tools we use to create better projects.\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work for VHB in the U.S. without employer sponsorship either now or in the future.\nThe full-time annual base salary range for this position, located in Vermont, is $80,000 to $98,000. The base salary offered will be determined based on job-related factors, including geographic location, internal equity, experience, credentials, skills, education, work schedule, and other factors permitted by law. The posted salary range reflects base pay only. Additional compensation and benefits available to eligible employees are outlined in our Total Rewards Program.\nAnnual base salary is one component of VHB’s Total Rewards package. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may receive annual incentive compensation bonuses, spot bonuses, and merit-based salary increases, providing opportunities to increase earnings beyond base pay.
