Interns will work on civil engineering projects and will learn technical skills and computation software. \nOur Atlanta Land Development team works with private real estate clients on a multitude of projects including Industrial, Healthcare and commercial developments. Our work includes site design, hydrology, utilities, mass grading and erosion control for projects in Georgia but typically in the metro Atlanta area.\nIf you're passionate about land development and looking to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you! Join us at VHB and be a part of creating vibrant, sustainable communities.Responsibilities\nEffectively interact with numerous VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner\nEngineering calculations\nPreliminary and final design plans\nContract documents including specifications\nEngineer’s estimates\nPreparing construction documents\nSkills and Attributes\nExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills\nSelf-motivated with attention to detail\nAbility to multitask\nExcels at working in a team environment\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing undergraduate or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field\nStrong interest in civil engineering\nVHB does not provide housing for internships.The hourly pay range for this position, located in Georgia, is $19 to $30. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on job-related factors, including geographic location, internal equity, experience, credentials, skills, education, work schedule, and other factors permitted by law. The posted hourly range reflects base pay only.
