This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, across diverse disciplines, giving you exposure to a wide variety of projects in size and scope.\nResponsibilities\nEvaluating crash history data and verifying the accuracy of such data.\nUse and create geospatial transportation data.\nCreate text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data.\nEffectively interact with VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner.\nPrepare clearly organized traffic safety and engineering reports and technical memos to communicate findings and recommendations.\nSkills and Attributes\nExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to independently perform multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with coworkers.\nSelf-motivated with attention to detail.\nFamiliarity with transportation planning and traffic engineering principles and resources.\nTeam oriented with strong capability to work independently.\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing undergraduate or master’s degree in civil engineering\nVHB does not provide housing for internships.\nThe hourly pay range for this position, located in Georgia, is $19 to $30. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on job-related factors, including geographic location, internal equity, experience, credentials, skills, education, work schedule, and other factors permitted by law. The posted hourly range reflects base pay only.
