This position would be full-time (40 hrs./week).\nResponsibilities\nEffectively interact with numerous VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner\nAssist with engineering calculations, analysis and report preparation\nField investigation, data collection, survey quality review\nAssist with completion of preliminary and final construction plans\nQuantity take-offs and calculations\nSkills and Attributes\nExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills\nAbility to independently manage multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with clients\nSelf-motivated with attention to detail\nQualifications\nCandidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering\nInterest in transportation design and/or traffic engineering\nVHB does not provide housing for internships.\nThe hourly pay range for this position, located in Virginia, is $19 to $30. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on job-related factors, including geographic location, internal equity, experience, credentials, skills, education, work schedule, and other factors permitted by law. The posted hourly range reflects base pay only.
