Your focus will be specifically on our Westlink service, where you will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence, helping to deliver a positive experience for our passengers and supporting the growth of the service.\nThis is an in-person position with the expectation that you will be onsite 4-5 days per week.\nAbout the Role:\nRun daily onsite operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for our riders.\nPartner with a broad, cross-functional team to develop and scale the processes, systems, and tools that drive continuous optimization and support rapid growth.\nMake real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and unexpected issues - using data to quickly diagnose problems and keep service running smoothly.\nGuide and support drivers, building strong relationships and coaching toward stronger performance in the field.\nTurn rider and community feedback into concrete changes by spotting patterns and addressing root causes.\nAct as the bridge between Via’s partners, drivers, and Via central teams, keeping everyone informed with clear, timely updates and resolving questions quickly.\nAbout You:\nOperationally experienced in people management, logistics, customer service, or other process-oriented work.\nRelationship-oriented and a confident communicator who builds trust with drivers, riders, teammates, and city partners, adapting their message and tone to each stakeholder, whether that’s partners, customers, or driver colleagues from diverse backgrounds.\nHands-on and proactive, comfortable taking responsibility for employees, being in the field, and solving problems where they happen, even under pressure.\nAnalytically savvy and structured, using data and digital tools to prioritize effectively and improve our services.\nTactical and strategic, able to tackle issues in real time while thinking ahead and building solutions that prevent them from recurring.\nFluent in English.\nValid driver’s license in the UK, class B.\nNice to have, but not required: Completed Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training and Qualified Transport Manager status would be a plus, as would experience in fixed-line bus operations.\nCompensation and Benefits: \nBecoming part of a company that was awarded for its commitment to social good.\nSalary Range: £40,000-£45,000.
