While standard schedules are provided, this role does require flexibility to work occasional evenings, Saturdays, and extended hours as business needs arise.\nWhat You'll Do:\nConduct regular performance evaluations of drivers, providing feedback and coaching to improve service quality and efficiency.\nDevelop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing drivers.\nHandle customer service issues, resolving complaints and making decisions to promote passenger satisfaction.\nPrioritize operational issues as the real-time point of contact and implement creative solutions to solve problems as they arise\nGo to the scene of accidents and incidents to manage processes and protocols\nDiligently work collaboratively with a broad interdisciplinary team to scale operational processes, systems, and tools to drive rapid growth\nSafely and courteously, operate lift-equipped vehicles to transport elderly and/or persons with disabilities\nLearn the fundamentals of Via operations and related safety procedures\nPerform the routine operation of vehicles, including pre- and post-shift inspections\nWho You Are:\nMinimum of 3+ years’ experience in transportation services or comparable industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in transportation, logistics, or related field preferred.\nAt least 25 years old\nHold a valid California Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement, current medical certification, and no restrictions preventing the operation of the company’s Grech, Freightliner, or Van Hool Motorcoaches, including air-brake equipped vehicles. Must maintain a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements..\nAn effective communicator and holds excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to handle stressful situations diplomatically.\nProficient in using a tablet and standard office software (e.g., Google Suite).\nPossess good knowledge of the city and community of Mountain View.\nAre able to operate a wheelchair accessible vehicle within standard safety guidelines to ensure public safety\nAble to deal effectively and courteously with all customers and the public\nAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.\nSuccessful completion of a drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check is mandatory for employment.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nFinal salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills.
