Sign-on bonus available for experienced techs (ask recruiter)\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nInstall, inspect, and maintain services for wireless radio and antenna systems on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures\nMount antennas, including panels and microwave dishes, run coax, apply connectors, scope fiber runs, and sweet test coax lines and jumpers\nInstall tower equipment, including, but not limited to, masts, clamping, bracing, support, antennas, remote radio units, cabling, and bolting\nComplete antenna installation of RF and microwave parabolic dishes from 1 foot to 10 feet in size\nTroubleshoot RF and microwave systems\nAssemble structures such as monopoles, self-supports, and guyed towers\nInstall power trunk lines\nLoad, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner\nSupport site cleanup and upkeep\nAbility to manage crew members when required\nComplete company required documentation\nOther duties as assigned \nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)\nExperience:\nAt least 2 years of wireless telecom construction experience required\nBasic knowledge of knots and tower rigging \nMust have or obtain and maintain Authorized Climber & Competent Climber/Rescue certification from an accredited institution\nMust have or obtain and maintain OSHA 10 construction training card\nMust have or obtain and maintain OSHA 30 construction training card\nMust have or obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification\nAbility to travel away from home up to 75% of the time including weekends. Travel includes local site travel or national travel depending on business needs\nMust have the ability to pass pre-employment checks, which include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and substance screening, following federal law. \nSkills:\nComputer and Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel)\nAbility to operate power tools and hand tools\nProven ability to perform fiber and sweep testing\nAbility to operate aerial lifts, manlifts, telehandlers, and aerial platform equipment\nMay be required to build Bill of Materials (BOM) based on job needs\nDC/AC electrical skills\nHave the ability to troubleshoot and correct mechanical or electrical connections\nAbility to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions\nMust have strong communication skills, both written and in person\nAbility to meet strict deadlines\nAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust have the ability to pass pre-employment checks, which include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and substance screening, following federal law. \nMust have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements\nMust be able to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift up to 75 lbs.\nAbility to pull your own body weight, plus equipment weight, up a vertical tower to 500 feet for extended periods of time\nAbility to reach, climb, and/or grasp ladders or other tall structures\nAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions\nAbility to work long and unpredictable hours\nAnticipated hourly pay for candidates with the required experience will be between $24 and $34.
