Contributes to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and encourages good work habits.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nSupervise maintenance services of all tools, equipment, and machines used within the division. \nEnsure service coverage is adequate for production needs. \nOversee the predictive maintenance program. \nOrder and maintain parts and supplies inventory. \nAssist with equipment and machine installation or repair, as necessary. \nDesigns or modifies equipment, jigs, fixtures, and tooling. \nResponsible for assuring team members receive training needed for their position. \nEnsure team members have a strong understanding of their job responsibilities. \nCoordinate efforts to ensure proper safety and ergonomics standards and guidelines are met in work area. \nEnsure staffing requirements are met. \nEncourage team member growth and development. \nDemonstrates the Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily actions and encourages their teams to do the same. \nAdminister annual team member performance reviews, goal setting, and participate in salary planning process. \nMaintain records on direct reports in relation to attendance and performance. \nMay lead or contribute to department improvement initiatives. \nMay be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed. \nLearning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: \nAssociate degree in technical field. Minimum 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nComprehensive knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems. Ability to read schematics and interpret equipment manuals. Ability to use various hand tools and test equipment. Proficiency with a computer. Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to coach, mentor, and empower team members to succeed. High level of patience and service. Ability to motivate team members. Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions. Ability to be flexible and multitask. Ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff. Depending on division, forklift certification is required. Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required. Refer to Viaflex Vehicle Operations Policy CS-13 for guidelines.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:\nPhysical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach.
