Supports laboratory activities in the division.\n\nHours: \nMonday - Thursday Nights | 6:00PM - 4:30AM\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nUtilize drawings, work instructions, or blueprints to interpret requirements for materials, products, or processes. \nPerform verification and/or testing of raw materials and finished products to order and required specifications. \nAssist in maintaining quality control testing equipment, including calibration, minor repairs, and coordinating major repairs. \nObtain product samples from production. \nTrain production staff on use of testing equipment. \nPerform process inspections. \nAssist division leadership with training and safety needs. \nMaintain documentation on acceptance/rejection of inspection data. \nWork with other teams to resolve quality-related issues. \nDemonstrates Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily actions. \nContribute to department improvement initiatives. \nMay be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed. \nLearning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: \nHigh school diploma or equivalent education. Minimum 2 years’ related experience in quality is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nExperience in a production environment is beneficial. Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records. Basic math and mechanical skills. Proficiency with a computer, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:\nPhysical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach.
