Compliance Analyst will be responsible for performing the monitoring and testing included in the Compliance Reviews schedule, as well as completing the steps to ensure accurate and complete tracking, reporting and validation of resolution of issues identified.\nCompliance Reviews are designed and intended to evaluate whether the business practices comply with the laws, rules and regulations applicable to the Money Transmitters Operators and that the controls designed to mitigate the related risks are effective.\nDuties and Responsabilities\nPerforming Compliance Reviews scheduled in a comprehensive and timely manner consistent with the Compliance Program procedures.\nExecute investigations based on client onboarding and transaction monitoring referrals.\nConduct transaction and agent real-time monitoring to assess conformity with internal codes of conduct, policies, and internal procedures, as well as legal obligations and best practices.\nMaintain statistics, identify patterns and contribute to management reports for appropriate escalation of significant issues and accomplishments.\nWork with the Compliance & Operational Risk Control organization colleagues to communicate results and potential issues identified, and develop Compliance guidance or practices that further mitigate any observed risks.\nServe as support in the preparation of reports as required by U.S. regulators.\nPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.\nMonitors referrals from government sources.\nPrepares case files for review.\nAbility to handle all situations, complaints and questions about compliance paperwork.\nKeeps abreast of legal and regulatory matters affecting the compliance examination program.\nMaintains documentation and work papers for examinations and reviews conducted.\nMaintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.\nQualifications\nAssociate or college degree. A combination of advanced learning on-the-job, work experience and required certifications will suffice in lieu of a college degree.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nFluent in spoken and written English.\nProactive and eager to learn.\nStrong process adherence orientation.\nMust have experience investigating customer transactions.\nExperience reviewing customer information.\nStrong writing, communication and documentation skills. Narratives and flow charts experience.\nDivision to resolve issues.\nFriendly, outgoing personality.\nStrong analytical, written communication, interpersonal, listening, interviewing, organizational, consulting, and presentation skills.\nInformation Security Responsibilities\nRead, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas Staff Information Security Policy via the Information Security training portal.
