Ultimately, they will design and write high quality tests for our products.\nDuties and responsibilities\nImplement and develop manual and automated test for both web and windows applications.\nDesign and develop test cases for front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, and backend systems across several programming languages with a focus on JavaScript, ReactJS and /or SQL to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation.\nWork with the Product owners, Delivery Director, and colleagues to define process and strategy associated with automation.\nIdentify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.\nPlan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope/delivery dates.\nParticipate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.\nReport bugs to the development team quickly and in a way easy to reproduce.\nWrite test cases for new products and features.\nReview and analyze product requirements\nOther duties as assigned.\nInformation Security Responsibilities\nRead, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas Staff Information Security Policy via the Information Security training portal. This should be done within 30 days of hire and repeated annually.\nAttend periodic Information Security training provided by Viamericas’.\nReport any event that might be an Information Security Incident: clicked on a malicious link, downloaded and opened a suspicious file, etc.\nProtect from disclosure all sensitive information, credentials and access to servers to which you have access.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IS, IT or related field\nHighly organized and detail oriented with ability to work independently and develop solutions to problems\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience working both with peers and more senior executives\nDesired English Level: B2\nExposure to the FinTech industry desired\nTechnical Requirements\n5+ years of experience in similar roles.\nExcellent communication skills\nAttention to detail\nAnalytical mind and problem-solving skills\nSQL server experience is a must.\nHands-on experience working with cloud environments and cloud-based architectures is a must.\nStrong experience with AWS services (including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Lambda, S3, among others) is a must.\nExperience on test automation tools (Selenium, Serenity, Webdriver, Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, JUnit, PHPUnit, TestNG ).\nDesirable experience with Serverless Framework or Serverless Architectures.\nWorking Conditions\nOffice working conditions.
