The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of systems engineering and automation, including configuration management, containerization, and scripting.\nTHE DAY-TO-DAY\nDevelop, configure, and deploy tools for cloud based systems and services\nContainerize new and legacy applications\nMaintain awareness of new and exciting technologies\nProvide LOE/scoping for projects\nSupport development and operations teams\nEnhance, modify or debug developer code as needed\nEnsure comprehensive observability across all aspects of application and system performance through maintenance, enhancement, and detection efforts\nRequired to participate in an on-call rotation for timely response to system incidents and maintenance needs\nQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS\n8+ years experience in a DevOps or SRE-related role\n3+ years experience with Linux administration in a professional setting\n3+ years experience with one or more large cloud providers (AWS, Google)\n3+ years experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)\n3+ years using Docker and or Kubernetes\n3+ years experience using Terraform - writing vanilla Terraform to instrumenting modules\nAbility to create CI/CD pipelines GitHub Actions\nDemonstrated proficiency in at least one of programming the following languages: Python, GoLang.\nExperience working with SQL and Google BigQuery\nLIFE AT VIANT\nInvesting in our employee’s professional growth is important to us, but so is investing in their well-being.
