The analyst will provide direct forensic services to customer staff. While in this critical position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your training and experience to forensically extract data from legally seized cellular devices, analyzing said data, and assist investigative staff in the development of actionable intelligence within the facilities and outside law enforcement. The selected candidate will be team oriented, capable of multitasking, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nThis position will be based on site in Mechanicsburg, PA.\nSeeking loca l Criminal Investigations Analysts, who have used/understand the Intelligence Lifecycle process, and have Digital and/or Cellular Forenscis experience.\nResponsibilities\nDemonstrate understanding and performance of data extraction and data analysis\nDemonstrate fundamental understanding of departmental and corporate policies, and/or industry best practices surrounding the handling of electronic evidence\nObtain and retain required forensic certifications and apply forensic extraction techniques and best practices\nAnalyze data to establish trends within the facility and potential areas of interest\nAssist facility with investigations by utilizing specialized software provided for forensic data extraction, data mining and link analysis\nDemonstrate fundamental understanding of investigative and intelligence processes to include the intelligence cycle\nSubmit detailed reports to supervisor’s and facility regarding forensic and intelligence processes and findings\nParticipation in court or other administrative related hearings\nQualifications\nA Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in Criminal Justice, Security and Intelligence, or a Business-related field is preferred; will consider four years of related experience or a combination of education/experience in lieu of a degree. \nA minimum of 2 years of related experience to include: Digital/Cellular Forensics, Intel reporting and analysis, and strong Investigative experience.\nAbility to obtain and retain required forensic certifications to include logical and physical data extractions and chip-off techniques. Existing Cellebrite and MSAB experience and certifications preferred.\nAbility to develop a fundamental understanding of intelligence processes in a correctional environment to include institutional operations and criminal procedures.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPrepared to testify in court or other administrative related hearings as needed.\nProficient in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Suite.\nAbility to learn ViaPath and third-party software applications within the first six months of hire.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.\nStrong problem-solving skills with an interest and ability to conduct analysis and report on findings.\nPro-active.\nAbility to handle confidential information.\nFluency (written and verbal) in English is required.
