Working closely with product, design and engineering colleagues, you’ll turn agreed opportunities into useful mobile experiences and validate them with users.\nAI will be a core part of how you build and deliver, from development through testing and validation. You’ll help improve these ways of working and share what works with the wider organisation.\nYou’ll bring depth in at least one native mobile platform, iOS or Android, and contribute hands-on beyond it, whether through another mobile platform, frontend or backend development. Together, you’ll take responsibility for the products you deliver and how they perform after release.\nThe team starts with a lab approach: focused scope, short feedback loops and room to experiment. As we learn what works, the aim is to evolve into an established structure with ongoing product responsibilities. You’ll help shape that journey and take care of the products as they develop.\nWhat your day might look like:\nTurn agreed product scope into working products and testable releases\n\nBuild and maintain mobile experiences and contribute across platforms and technologies as needed\n\nWork with product and design to use data, user insights, and hypotheses to guide implementation and validate outcomes\n\nApply and improve advanced AI-native workflows across development, testing, and validation\n\nIntegrate AI capabilities where they add value to the product\n\nImprove accessibility, performance, reliability, and maintainability as products develop\n\nContribute to deployment, maintenance and operation, taking responsibility for the software you deliver\n\nShare knowledge, review work with colleagues, and help the team develop its practices\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nYou’ve used AI across substantial parts of product delivery, beyond individual coding suggestions. You can explain your contribution, how you verified the result, and what you learned.\nFor this role, we’re looking for:\nTechnical depth: Strong native mobile engineering in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android, including production delivery and maintenance, APIs, automated testing, debugging and release processes\n\nPractical width: Hands-on capability in at least one additional area, whether a second mobile platform, frontend or backend development\n\nAI-native delivery: Experience using advanced workflows, such as agent-based or spec-driven development. You can structure work for AI, provide context, evaluate the resulting software and take responsibility for what reaches production\n\nProduct experience: Worked in a product organisation and a cross-functional product team with product managers and designers. You use data and user insights to test hypotheses, validate value and take shared responsibility for outcomes after release.\n\nIt’s a bonus if you have:\nExperience developing for both iOS and Android\n\nStrong frontend or backend engineering skills that broaden your contribution\n\nExperience with accessibility, mobile performance or media, and streaming products\n\nYou bring approaches we can learn from and can demonstrate where AI has improved your delivery, as well as where it has required more care.
