You will be customer focused and able to provide a first class service in this diverse and exciting role. You will provide mechanical engineering support/knowledge, complete preventative maintenance to deadlines, maintain paperwork supporting PPM activities and be involved in the management of contractors. You will also be required to respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance SLA’s, complete daily plant/building inspections and provide operational support to the business via helpdesk requests\nThe day-to-day\nWe are looking for a muti-skilled and reliable Mechanical/Air Conditioning Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration and air handling, and water systems, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently and in accordance with required standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nComplete site training and keep up to date with the latest operational procedures\nAn understanding of planned preventive maintenance for the building\nCarry out any routine maintenance on equipment to include fault finding, problem solving and repairs to minimise down time.\nFull, accurate and timely completion of all maintenance logs, schedules, etc. to comply with Health and Safety legislation, company, insurance and ISO requirements, etc.\nEngage with external vendors as required and accompany/assist them while on site.\nEnsure there are adequate supplies of spares on site for commonly used and critical spare parts and log these in a stock sheet\nMaintain a service record of all planned maintenance work undertaken.\nComplete assigned building maintenance and helpdesk tasks whilst actively interacting with end users, and the building services manager within the required SLA.\nCarry out daily building checks, ensuring a proactive approach to the up keep of the building. Inspecting all facilities to ensure good working order and state of repair.\nHealth & safety checks where necessary.
