This includes managing project costing, burdening, revenue recognition, billing, project funding, expenditure processing, and integration.\nThis role provides exposure to:\nEnterprise-scale Oracle EBS Project Accounting and Financials environments.\nEnd-to-end Project Lifecycle Management, from project setup through cost collection, billing, revenue recognition, and close.\nComplex integrations between Oracle Projects, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and other financial modules.\nFinancial close and accounting operations supporting a global organization.\nThe candidate will leverage their Project Systems and business process expertise to:\nAnalyze and document Oracle Projects business processes and system activities.\nDevelop runbooks and operational procedures for project costing, billing, funding, and close activities.\nFacilitate workshops with Finance, Project Accounting, and Oracle EBS SMEs.\nIdentify process dependencies, operational risks, and knowledge gaps.\nThe work directly impacts Viasat's ability to:\nAccurately account for project costs and revenue.\nSupport timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.\nMaintain compliance with financial reporting and audit requirements.\nReduce operational risk associated with key-person dependencies.\nImprove business continuity and organizational resilience.\nPreserve critical institutional knowledge.\nThe candidate will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including:\nProject Accounting and Cost Accounting teams.\nOracle EBS functional consultants.\nOracle EBS technical support teams.\nBusiness Systems Analysts.\nThe day-to-day\nThe day-to-day work is focused on Oracle EBS Project Accounting operations, process documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities.
