You will work in a collaborative and inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning, and provides industry-leading benefits with unmatched opportunities for career growth.\nThe day-to-day\nTroubleshooting and debugging of RF devices, down to component level\nRun tests on Viasat products and report results\nPerforming RF testing; installation, set-up, tuning and data analysis\nAssist in building, troubleshooting and maintenance of Specialized Test Equipment used in product testing\nAssist in documentation writing, such as Assembly Drawings, BoM’s, Wiring Diagrams, ATP's, etc.\nWhat you'll need\n5+ years of related experience working in the electronics field\n3+ years of troubleshooting and repairing RF devices\nExperience using Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and RF test equipment\nProven experience in testing electronic products\nAbility to read schematics and understand electronic circuits\nFamiliarity with common test equipment and troubleshooting methods\nAbility to follow a test procedure and complete necessary paperwork\nGood working knowledge of MS Office for documentation creation, and modification\nAssociate’s degree in a technical rigor or equivalent experience\nUS citizenship required\nActive DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain when administratively feasible\nWhat will help you on the job\nActive DoD Secret Clearance\nHands-on experience setting up and working with RF test setups\nExperience RF transmitters, RF receivers, and amplifiers\nSalary range\n$21.63 - $34.13 / hourly.\nFor specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $26.68 - $40.14/ hourly\nAt Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
