The role will also leverage modern AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency, test coverage, defect detection, and overall quality outcomes.\nThe day-to-day\nAnalyze business and functional requirements and develop test plan and test cases.\nExecute functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing across Oracle, SAP, Billing, and other enterprise applications.\nIdentify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.\nCollaborate with project teams to validate system changes and assess cross-system impacts.\nSupport release validation and production readiness activities.\nDevelop and maintain test documentation, test evidence, and execution reports.\nIdentify opportunities for automation and contribute to automation development and maintenance.\nLeverage AI-assisted tools and technologies to improve test design, test execution, defect analysis, and QA productivity.\nParticipate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback early in the delivery lifecycle.\nSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.\nShare knowledge and contribute to expanding QA capabilities across the broader team.\nWhat you'll need\n5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline.\nExperience testing enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, Finance, Billing, Procurement, or Supply Chain systems.\nStrong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.\nExperience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, qTest, or similar.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nWillingness to adopt and utilize AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity.\nWhat will help you on the job\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience testing Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud, SAP ECC, or SAP S/4HANA.\nKnowledge of financial, procurement, order management, or supply chain business processes.\nStrong SQL and database validation skills.\nExperience with enterprise automation frameworks and reusable component design\nExperience with test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, or similar platforms.\nFamiliar with AI-powered development, testing, or productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or AI-assisted test generation.\nNice to have:\nProgramming experience using Java, Python, SQL, or similar technologies for test automation.\nExperience with source code management and version control tools such as GitHub.\nFamiliar with Agile delivery methodologies, CI/CD, and automated deployment practices.\nExperience using AI tools to improve software quality, automation, defect analysis, or testing productivity.\nExperience working in global and cross-functional teams.\nEEO Statement\nViasat is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, seeking to create a welcoming and diverse environment.
