You will drive the effort to develop test automation software that prove the product meets these requirements. Some of the languages used for these test applications are RUST, Python, C/C++, make scripts and more. You will be critical in the preparation of formal test plan, procedure, and report deliverable documents. In addition, you will support the generation of slides describing the test environment, tools, and configurations to present in periodic design reviews (e.g. PDR, CDR, TRR)\nThe day-to-day\nReview requirements for scope, accuracy, and testability\nDetermine the best method to validate compliance to each requirement. (Analysis, Inspection, Demonstration, Test)\nCreate test plans including definitionsl of what test equipment, power supplies, and cabling are required.\nCoding test procedures into python scripts.\nPursue primary goals of test automatation: Reliabilty and Repeatability\nWhat you'll need\nBachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related subject area\nActive SECRET security clearance\nAble to work on site and in the lab with the units being tested\n5+ years integration and test experience\nExperience with networking (TCP, UDP, Multicast, etc.) and network devices.\nDefining, deriving, and linking system level requirements to allocated HW/SW baseline definitions\nWhat will help you on the job\nActive TOP SECRET clearance\nWilling to go beyond what requirements dictate, be inquisitive\nEqually adept working in a team or individually\nDesign experience in HW, SW, PL, or Systems Engineering \nExperience with SW Defined Radios or other wireless communication efforts \nAbility to travel up to 10%\nSalary range\n$120,500.00 - $190,000.00 / annually.\nFor specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $149,500.00- $224,500.00/ annually\nAt Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
