This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.\nWe are seeking a Mid-Level MuleSoft Integration Developer to support the CRM, Integration, and Platform Services workforce. This role will support API-led connectivity, system integration, reusable services, data exchange, and secure enterprise interoperability while helping the customer deliver secure, reliable, accessible, and maintainable digital services. The successful candidate will develop, configure, test, document, and support platform capabilities under the direction of senior engineers and architects and will work closely with government stakeholders, architects, engineers, product owners, cybersecurity, operations, and business users to convert requirements into mission-aligned platform capabilities.\nThe Mid-Level MuleSoft Integration Developer will provide hands-on platform development or integration support for MuleSoft capabilities within the CRM, Integration, and Platform Services environment.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, configure, develop, integrate, test, document, and sustain MuleSoft capabilities using Anypoint Platform, API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub, Mule 4, DataWeave, REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, policies, and CI/CD automation.\n\nDevelop API-led integration layers, reusable services, DataWeave transformations, runtime policies, and secure connectivity between enterprise systems.\n\nTranslate business, mission, security, accessibility, and operational requirements into practical technical solutions.\n\nSupport platform architecture, backlog refinement, implementation planning, release readiness, and production transition activities.\n\nDevelop reusable patterns, configuration standards, automation, documentation, and support procedures that reduce delivery and sustainment risk.\n\nTroubleshoot complex issues across platform configuration, code, data, APIs, identity, security, performance, and user experience.\n\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, data, infrastructure, QA, and change management teams to align delivery with federal operating expectations.\n\nMaintain clear technical documentation, design decisions, implementation notes, test evidence, and operational runbooks.\n\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.\n\n4+ years of experience in hands-on platform development or integration, preferably in complex enterprise or government environments.\n\nHands-on experience with MuleSoft implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, or operations.\n\nExperience working with Agile delivery teams and translating stakeholder needs into maintainable technical outcomes.\n\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nMuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect, or comparable API/integration certification.\n\nExperience supporting federal government IT environments, Public Trust programs, or regulated enterprise delivery.\n\nExperience with Section 508, cybersecurity, auditability, data protection, and operational documentation expectations.\n\nRequired Skills and Competencies:\nStrong hands-on knowledge of MuleSoft capabilities, implementation patterns, administration, development, integration, and lifecycle management.\n\nAbility to design and implement secure, supportable, upgrade-aware solutions that avoid unnecessary customization and reduce technical debt.\n\nExperience with APIs, identity and access controls, data management, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and release coordination.\n\nAbility to document technical designs, configuration decisions, operational procedures, test results, and risks in clear business and technical language.\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work across government stakeholders, product owners, engineers, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams.\n\nAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearance.\n\nPreferred Skills and Competencies:\nExperience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure as code, or platform release automation.\n\nKnowledge of federal security and compliance concepts including NIST controls, FISMA, FedRAMP-authorized services, audit evidence, and least privilege.\n\nExperience improving platform governance, reuse, documentation, observability, and operational readiness.\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Atlassian, Snowflake, data catalog, CRM, or enterprise integration ecosystems.\n\nCompensation Range:\n$110,000 - 145,000.
