The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the External Manufacturing OSD Senior Specialist role will make an impact:

  • Manage relationships with a defined portfolio of external manufacturing suppliers, including business reviews, cost improvement initiatives and supplier performance management.

  • Support commercial negotiations with existing and potential suppliers to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining quality, service and continuity of supply.

  • Assist with contract management processes, partnering with Legal and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and approval requirements.

  • Provide market intelligence and benchmark pricing data to support sourcing decisions and negotiations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Legal, R&D, Regulatory and Business Development teams.

  • Support procurement activities related to new product launches, transfers and supply network projects.

  • Identify, escalate and help resolve supplier-related risks and operational issues.

  • Support forecasting, budgeting and business case development to enable effective management decision making

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management or external manufacturing operations.

  • Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage operational priorities independently and drive results across multiple workstreams.

  • Experience working effectively in a cross-functional environment.

  • Business-level English communication skills.

  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare or other regulated industry experience is advantageous.

  • Understanding of commercial contracts and supplier agreements.

  • Experience using procurement and ERP systems such as SAP is desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
