Key responsibilities for this role include:
Analyze drawings and wiring diagrams to locate and install circuits and equipment and to determine materials and parts needed.
Plan and perform work requiring knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specifications, codes and properties of various materials.
Locate source of trouble in electrical equipment when needed, by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting for faulty operation.
Installconduit,fittings,switches,controlsandfixtures.Wireandconnectalltypesof electricalequipmentasrequiredfornew installationorreplacementoffacilities,pertheNationalElectricalCode.
Performcalibrationofplantequipment,asrequired.
Consider all safetyprecautionsandtheproper isolation ofcircuitsto cause a minimumofinterference to operations.
Cleanupmachineryandworkareaafter performingmaintenancefunctions.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of experience is required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Must possess a minimum of a VermontStateJourneymanLicense. We will consider Master Electrician level depending on candidate qualifications.
Mustpossessapplicableknowledgeofelectricaltestingequipment,e.g.ammeters,voltmeter,conduit-bendingequipment, powerhandtoolsand hand tools.
Must possess applicable knowledge of plantmachineryandequipment,replacementparts,controlcabinets, wiring,and conduit.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $39,000.00 - $88,000.00 USD.
