With a mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life, we provide access at scale, currently supplying high-quality medicines to approximately 1 billion patients around the world annually and touching all of life's moments, from birth to the end of life, acute conditions to chronic diseases.\nWe have been included on number of award lists that demonstrate the impact we are making.\nEvery day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the role will make an impact:\nKey responsibilities for this role include:\nReceive and inventory biological samples to be analyzed in the laboratory with limited supervision. \nMaintain storage of biological samples ensuring the samples are stored securely and under appropriate conditions.\nSupport laboratory activity through assisting with sample handling, preparation, and verification of sample identity.\nPrepare laboratory reagents following written procedures.\nKeep equipment operating by following operating instructions, maintaining supplies and calling for repairs.\nDocument laboratory activity in accordance with established procedures.\nPerform quality checks of scientific data by following standardized instructions within written operating procedures.\nGenerate and review Data Tables for inclusion in reports.\nVerify data entries into computerized systems for accuracy of entry.\nThe minimum qualifications for this role are:\nMinimum of 0-2 years of experience. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. \nMust possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), GLPs, SOPs, Guidelines, a basic understanding OSHA regulations and procedures of the safe handling of chemicals.\nMust possess good communication and writing skills. Must possess the ability to multi-task and be accurate and precise. Must possess computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Instrumentation software.\nAbility to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.\nAbility to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates. \nAbility to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment. Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.\nTypically sitting at a desk or table. Intermittently sitting, standing, walking, or stooping. May be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms. Sedentary lifting requirements. \nNormal laboratory situation.
