This is a place to make a difference in the world.\nThe Role & What You Will Be Doing\nResponsible for the set up and maintenance of Viatris (Mylan Teoranta) automated vial and syringe filling equipment. Responsible for maintenance and repair of plant equipment and utilities. The position will help Viatris continue along the maintenance maturity continuum to achieve excellence as defined by best industry practices.\nEvery day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Maintenance Technician role will make an impact:\nResponsible for Setup, planned maintenance and fault finding of automated Vial and Syringe filling equipment.\n\nResponsible for maintenance of equipment and utilities and documenting work to a GMP standard.\n\nManage external contractors when required during equipment installations and planned service visits.\n\nManage spare parts, consumables, and services to keep equipment schedules compliant.\n\nDevelop, Implement, and promote a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategy using Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA/FMEA) assessments in conjunction with department management, the Engineering dept reliability engineer and the Production department utilizing tools such as Trend’s analysis & Control charts & Data review.\n\nSupport the creation and modification of documentation to support maintenance and calibration activities (PM, Data Sheets, Work Instructions, troubleshooting guides).\n\nSupport compliance efforts related to Safety Events, Quality Events, CAPAs, change management and investigations and assist in the investigation and resolution of electrical and mechanical issues on equipment.\n\nEnsure maintenance routines, procedures, and work plans are developed to the necessary standards and best practice to ensure compliance with cGMP and EHS regulations.\n\nComply with cGMP & EHS requirements from a local, global, and regulatory perspective.\n\nYou will be required to be flexible in this position and must be prepared to such undertake overtime; shift cover, on call and other works as may be assigned to your role by the company.\n\nAbout Your Skills & Experience\nFor this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:\nMinimum of a Certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and proven relevant experience. However, a combination of experience and education will be taken into consideration.\n\nExcellent Interpersonal / Communication skills\n\nConflict management / Negotiation.\n\nStructured decision making.\n\nComputer literacy (Word, Excel, PM systems).\n\nReport preparation & presentation.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.\n\nProven analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to read and interpret general business documents and to compile Technical reports.\n\nAbility to work with peers and communicate.\n\nMay be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms to lift and scoop. May be required to lift or maneuver boxes or containers using lifting equipment, as well as physically pushing, rolling or lifting. May be required to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to: respiratory protection, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes and protective clothing.
