We act courageously and are uniquely positioned to be a source of stability in a world of evolving healthcare needs.\nViatris empowers people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life.\nWe do so via:\nAccess - Providing high quality trusted medicines regardless of geography or circumstance;\nLeadership - Advancing sustainable operations and innovative solutions to improve patient health; and\nPartnership - Leveraging our collective expertise to connect people to products and services.\nEvery day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Meeting & Event Manager role will make an impact, the key responsibilities for this role include:\nPlanning and managing internal and external events for Viatris Australia\nPresenting proposal and updates/feedback to the leadership team\nWorking with cross functional teams to make the event successful - marketing, communications, training, digital, leadership team, sales\nLead management of a single Event vendor - procurement, SLA, compliance training and ongoing management\nMaintain field force lead educational event compliance via compliance system and support the commercial business coordinate the internal approval process of educational events in partnership with sales, legal and compliance\nMaintaining the event playbook and training sales on educational events\nUtilise Cvent for complex meetings for RFP and meeting management, and the Cvent lead to allocate meetings and training\nWorking with the global M&E team for training, policy and other global M&E guidance\nAct as subject matter expert for meetings and events in ANZ and be the point of contact for the global team\nPartner with Business Excellence Colleagues to design solutions for evolving event needs such as digitising event sign-in and meeting follow up\nPrepare and submit required metrics for the Commercial Review Report and Educational Event Report when required\nConduct monthly audits of the Veeva Medical Event Module and HIPPO Tool and request employees to close medical requests which were fully executed in the previous month\nPilot any new technical resources where required to test usability and relevance to the company’s needs\nRegular governance of self-service travel\nThe minimum qualifications and skillset required for this role is:\nBachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma is preferred.\nTertiary qualification in Event Management, Project Management or a related discipline.\nCVENT expertise (desired but not essential)\nAt least 2 years’ experience in event and meeting management, including planning and delivery of large-scale events (200+ attendees)\nExperience working within a commercial environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or another highly matrixed organisation.\nProven experience working across cross-functional teams and partnering with senior leadership\nExperience managing virtual and hybrid events using event technology platforms\nExcellent communication skills (written and verbal), project management, stakeholder management, learning agility.\nMust be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).\nEmployee Benefits\nRecognition programs\nBenefits for health and financial wellness\nEmployee discount platform\nAnnual wellness allowance\nAnnual leave loading\nPaid volunteer leave\nFree flu vaccinations\nEmployee discounts on products\nAdditional paid parental leave\nRetirement savings plans\nCompetitive compensation programs\nCareer and development planning for continuous growth and learning\nAnnual salary reviews\nPlus much much more!\nCulture\nViatris Australia is a certified Great Place To Work for 2025, and has been named in Forbes’ World’s Best Employers 2022 list.
