This is a place to make a difference in the world.\nThe Role & What You Will Be Doing\nEvery day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and here’s how the Senior Finance Analyst role will make an impact:\nYou will support planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management activities for the Europe Region Office. The role involves partnering with European functional leaders, providing financial analysis and insights, supporting decision-making, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to regional, local and global stakeholders. You will also contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of financial reporting and planning processes. The role requires a self-starter mindset, with ownership of assigned processes and the ability to drive deliverables independently from initiation to completion.\nThis position will lead the local medical team, ensure alignment and execution of local/regional medical strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key healthcare stakeholders to drive meaningful impact for patients and the business.\nSupport and own assigned aspects of monthly, quarterly and annual Forecast, Budget and Strategic Planning processes through preparation, consolidation and analysis of financial data;\nDeliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to Regional and Global Finance stakeholders;\nAnalyze financial performance against Forecast, Budget, Prior Year and Strategic Plan, identify key drivers, risks and opportunities, and prepare clear, meaningful management commentaries;\nPartner with European functional leaders by providing financial insights, tracking KPIs and supporting business decision-making and performance reviews;\nSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, reconciliations, management fees and other financial adjustments;\nDevelop, maintain and continuously improve management reports, dashboards and analytical tools to enhance decision-making and reporting efficiency;\nIdentify and continuously drive opportunities for process improvement, standardization and automation across planning and reporting activities;\nCollaborate with local and global Finance teams across Europe to coordinate deliverables and support regional and global initiatives;\nUtilize and support financial systems and reporting tools, including SAP, Hyperion and other planning and business intelligence platforms;\nEnsure compliance with Company Policies, Procedures and Internal Controls;\nProvide ad hoc financial analysis and participate in regional and global finance initiatives and projects as required.\nAbout Your Skills & Experience\nFor this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:\nUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field;\nRelevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, Reporting or similar finance roles within a multinational environment;\nExperience in Forecasting, Budgeting and Financial Planning processes;\nGood understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes;\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights;\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail;\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to manage priorities, drive assigned processes independently from initiation to completion and deliver high-quality results;\nAbility to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment;\nStrong communication, stakeholder management and business partnering skills;\nStrong cross-functional and cross-country collaboration skills;\nAdvanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot are considered an advantage;\nExperience working with SAP, Hyperion and financial planning/reporting systems is considered an advantage;\nExperience with Power BI or similar visualization tools is considered an advantage; \nAt Viatris, we are dedicated to building a truly diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t fully align with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
