This role is crucial for supporting production schedules and minimizing waste.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerforms the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. \nChecks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. \nPackages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. \nLifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. \nPrepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. \nReviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.\nPerform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.\nReceive, inspect, and store incoming materials according to established procedures.\nPrepare and issue materials to production or other departments as requested.\nUtilize inventory management software to track material movement and generate reports.\n Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory.\nAssist in conducting physical inventory counts and audits.\nMaintain a clean and organized warehouse and storage areas.\nCollaborate with purchasing, production, and shipping/receiving departments to optimize inventory processes.\nAdhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
