This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic engineering environment.\nJob Responsibilities:\nAssist in the design, simulation, and prototyping of electrical circuits and optical modules.\nConduct laboratory testing and characterization of hardware components and systems, including data acquisition and analysis.\nDevelop and execute test plans, analyze results, and document findings.\nSupport senior engineers in troubleshooting and debugging hardware issues.\nParticipate in design reviews and contribute to technical discussions.\nResearch and evaluate new technologies, components, and methodologies.\nMaintain accurate records of experiments, designs, and analysis.\nPre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:\nJob Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field.\nBasic understanding of circuit design principles, analog and digital electronics.\nFamiliarity with optical components, fiber optics, or optical communication systems is a plus.\nExperience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.\nProficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, Excel).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nIf you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.\nVIAVI Solutions is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer -
