Performs significant analysis to ensure compliance with company policy and proper revenue recording.\nJob Description:\nCoordinate with various process owners to obtain supporting documents for revenue transactions\nResponsible for reviewing revenue transactions and preparing revenue packages\nResponsible for providing technical assistance to regional controllers on revenue accounting and implications of non-standard contractual terms\nAdvise other organizations regarding revenue recognition issues\nEnsure revenue accounting policies are documented and applied consistently on a worldwide basis\nParticipate in and/or lead company-wide projects that impact revenue accounting and analysis\nUndertake various quarter-end and year-end review tasks during the close process\nMaintain SOX compliance for all revenue related controls\nMaintain deferred revenue and deferred cogs and responsible for monthly closing activities\nIn depth knowledge of ASC 606.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s in finance, Accounting or related discipline\n5+ years of experience with at least 2 years revenue recognition experience.\nMust be an advanced user of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, xlookups, filtering) and other Microsoft Office products.\nMust be able to work in a high paced team environment\nMust be willing to learn and \"can do\" attitude\nMust be proactive
