VIAVI employees are passionate about supporting customer success and we welcome people who bring their best every day to the company - to question, to collaborate and to push for solutions that will delight our customers.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nContributing as a member of the Product Compliance Team to:\nMonitor developments in product legislation, regulations and standards understand the implications for VIAVI Solutions and the compliance actions required.\nLead compliance projects as required.\nHelp maintain a center of knowledge for all product regulatory requirements (Safety, EMC, Radio, Laser, etc.) and the guidance, tools, templates, etc., to help R&D teams achieve compliance.\nHelp validate products by conducting pre-compliance and mechanical/climactic tests.\nCoordinate taking products through external labs.\nRegister and report to regulatory authorities as needed.\nReview and confirm the compliance of new products and subsequent design changes.\nAudit and maintain the compliance of supply chains and sales channels. \nMaintain component and product level proof of compliance.\nAssist with internal and external customers’ compliance questions and requests for information/documentation.\nPre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:\nRequirements:\nDegree or equivalent in a technical discipline.\nA solid understanding of the trends in regulatory compliance, the methods for achieving and proving compliance.\nStrong operational and project management skills.\nGood communication skills\nIf you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.\nVIAVI Solutions is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer - minorities/females/veterans/persons with disabilities.\nJob Posting Pay Range:\n122,500to\n227,500Exceptional qualifications, experience and location may impact salary.
