The Team Lead is expected to lead by example and support production by maximizing equipment uptime and maintenance effectiveness.\nEssential Leadership Responsibilities\nCommunication\nConduct shift handoffs with Production and Maintenance teams to communicate equipment status, startup priorities, shutdown activities, and outstanding repairs.\nProvide effective communication between shifts regarding ongoing maintenance issues.\nKeep leadership informed of maintenance progress, PM completion, equipment concerns, and major findings.\nReview and respond to emails daily.\nComplete and distribute end-of-shift reports.\nServe as the primary maintenance contact for significant equipment issues.\nTeam Leadership\nLead by example in safety, performance, professionalism, and attitude.\nAssign preventive maintenance, repair work, and planned maintenance projects.\nDirect daily workflow and prioritize maintenance activities.\nEnsure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with high quality standards.\nReport concerns related to safety, attendance, performance, or policy violations.\nSupport and develop maintenance team members through coaching and guidance.\nMaintain a strong focus on accountability and attendance expectations.\nEssential Maintenance Responsibilities\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nInspect, test, dismantle, repair, and reassemble production equipment.\nIdentify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.\nComplete startup, shutdown, and line-down maintenance activities.\nInstall replacement parts and perform equipment modifications as required.\nCollaborate with Production and Engineering to improve equipment performance.\nDocument maintenance activities, repairs, and troubleshooting efforts.\nMaintain maintenance shop organization, inventory, tools, and spare parts.\nPerform basic facility maintenance including plumbing, lighting, drains, and general building repairs.\nAssist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.\nComplete all other duties as assigned by management.\nSafety and Compliance\nFollow all company safety policies, GMP requirements, and food safety standards.\nParticipate in safety programs and promote a safety-first culture.\nImmediately report accidents, injuries, near misses, unsafe conditions, or unsafe acts.\nEnsure OSHA compliance and proper use of tools and equipment.\nDemonstrate safe work practices at all times.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment;
