At VICI, we value creativity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional products and customer experiences as we continue to grow.\nAbout the role\nThe Inventory Control & Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing and completing all daily operational activities for retail and ecommerce inventory control and receiving. This position leads a team to complete their respective functional activities while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, performance and productivity.\nWhat you’ll do\nDirectly manages a team and provides day-to-day leadership within the distribution center to achieve daily responsibilities\nEnsures daily tasks are accomplished accurately and efficiently; trains and coaches employees on operational procedures and workflows\nPlans daily labor allocations, track attendance, approve all timecards and time off requests\nMaintain a high level of morale within team and cross-functional business partners in accordance with the company core values and culture\nEvaluate daily productivity levels and partner closely with peers to determine necessary adjustments to staffing in order to balance production\nResponsible for investigating and resolving complex problems, escalating as needed to senior leadership for support\nTrack and maintain performance against daily operational metrics/KPIs; provide regular reporting and advice to leadership on operational improvements and efficiencies\nMaintain excellent knowledge of all company's products and department policies; ensures all Warehouse Operations policy and procedures are followed\nContinuously evaluate operational workflows and make necessary process improvements to improve department efficiency\nMaintain consistent communication and coordination with all business partners to ensure alignment on business objectives, updates, and operational requirements.\nEnsure the warehouse is clean, organized and meets all safety standards as identified by OSHA and other applicable state agencies\nTrain employees on best safety practices and procedures to reduce incidents/injuries\nEnter data accurately in shared Excel files\nAssist in planning and execution of yearly physical inventory\nMay perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the company\nWho we are looking for\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment\nExcellent analytical, time management and organization skills; meticulous attention to detail\nDemonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity\nAbility to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals\nAbility to work positively and collaboratively with different groups within the company to advance the company’s stability and growth \nAbility to work independently, be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment\nSkilled at communicating clearly both verbally and in writing\nExcellent problem-solving skills; willingness to think out-of-the-box to resolve issues\nDemonstrated managerial skills; ability to effectively motivate and lead high-performing teams\nDemonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Windows (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Mac and Google products and standard applications (Slack, Office365, Chrome, etc.)\nProficiency with time keeping systems such as ADP and KRONOS\nEducation and Experience\nHigh School Diploma required\n3-5 years prior experience in warehouse operations; retail/ecommerce industry experience desired\nPrior supervisory experience preferred\nDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google products and WMS platforms\nAbility to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level\nWork Environment and Schedule\nThis is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with hours subject to change based on business needs.\nPrimarily works in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, noise, dust and dirt\nSitting, standing and walking intermittently throughout the day\nUse office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, printer\nMay operate warehouse equipment such as manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, forklift\nOccasionally lift or pull up to 40 pounds\nYour Wellbeing is Our Priority\nAt VICI, we believe in supporting our team through benefits that promote health, financial security, and work-life balance.
